I spent the last few years specialising in packaging, print and digital design. I worked closely within Corporate Identity guidelines for over 10 different household brands, beverage brands as well as creating or refreshing them.
I have managed the artwork process for well-known global house-hold brands and a global women's gym.
I managed a small team of junior/freelance designers and photographers.
I have worked in the Netherlands in packaging for Unilever and as a freelance designer/Illustrator for global companies.
I am also a proud mom of a little boy, whom I adore spending my time with.
The Longer Story
I am a South African with dual EU nationality. I am an organised creative and highly efficient Graphic Designer who is capable of producing and delivering online content, packaging design, print design as well as Logos and Corporate identities.
I graduated high school in 2005. I went on to study cheffing until 2007. After a change of industry working as a Receptionist, Admin, Payroll, PA to CEO I graduated highest in my class from AAA School of advertising in 2013 in Graphic Design.
I got my first Graphic Design job at an online advertising agency, Flicker digital, duties learnt were:

After three years with a company that taught me many ways of the business I went off to freelance to try expand my knowledge in 2015.

Work closely with marketing teams to design new packaging for new products.
I packed up my things and made a big move to The Netherlands, there I worked at Unilever Europe as an Artwork Production Specialist. Catapulting my knowledge in:

Understanding the artwork process, roles and responsibilities, to fit this into the innovation project management process.

Understand the Category and Brands (Omo, surf, Persil, Glorix to name a few)

Collaborate with marketing and design agencies

Set-up and run pre-production meetings

Work with marketing to ensure visibility on artwork cost and spend, and the cost of printed packaging is optimised e.g. print process, number of colours etc.

After Unilever it was time to spread my wings. I opened a freelance business and since have worked with many different companies.

The past year I have been working closely with YYY Shows, Fishmonger and Ebotse Trading who own an array of alcohol brands, such as Tipo Tinto. I have delved into Packaging design across different packaging types such as bottles, cans, boxes, labels, carton boxes as well as helping design glass bottles, logos and Corporate Identities and UI Design
It is now time for me stretch my horizons, I am open to freelance work or to be swept off my feet by that lucky company I get to make an impact in.
